In my opinion a caveman could very well have appreciated Bach if he would have heard it.  They took the time to make extensive cave paintings about things they were passionate about to share with others.  Bach wrote music to share with others and I think they would have recognized that and respected it.  I also think the Caveman would have liked how it sounded.  In Bach's works you can hear every note and it is usually fast paced.  I feel like this would have been a source of excitement for them.  According to the article by Michael Taft the cavemen appreciated and took pride in their artwork.  Thus giving them a sense of respect for the arts.  I feel like if they were able to see some of the art after their time like the Mona Lisa by Da Vinci or Michelangelo's The Last Judgement  they would have been blown away and encouraged to make more art.
